Manuscript Journals makes "literary-inspired journals" - notebooks featuring iconic book covers and obscure limited editions of classic books printed on textured cover stock using vintage offset printing and high-tensile thread. The company is a little less than a year old, but growing rapidly. Their notebooks have been featured in the Owlcrate book subscription box, and are currently sold in 17 bookstores across the US and several museums and galleries. Their newest project is a pocket notebook subscription service called Manuscript Crate, which will give subscribers a new set of pocket notebooks monthly, each with a different literary-inspired cover.
Spanning all genres and international editions, sometimes the cover art will be instantly recognizable, and sometimes will be obscure limited run covers printed a long time ago in far away places. But every month will be an awesome surprise.
As a bonus, the first 500 subscribers to Manuscript Crate will receive a $10 gift card that can be used towards the subscription service once it goes live, so act quickly if you want to take advantage of this limited offer. You can sign up here.
The folks at Manuscript were kind enough to send some of their journals my way for review, so look for a review up on the site in the future.
