Deals & Drops: The Closing Days of Some Kickstarters, and Pink Ink!

There's quite a few pen and stationery-related Kickstarter projects going on right now, including several that will be closing in the coming days. These are all included here, along with some other "weekly specials" and new releases, including the arrival of the Lamy Vibrant Pink ink and the return of the Sailor Purple Cosmos! Most of my current Amazon recommendations have been moved to a separate page, featured here

  1. Sailor 1911 Royal Tangerine (via Pen Chalet). This year's Sailor North American exclusive is a great-looking pen, available in both the 1911 Standard and 1911 Large sizes.
  2. Platinum 3776 Oshino (Via Pen Chalet). The newest Platinum 3776 Oshino Demonstrator is a beauty! Don't miss this one.
  3. Sailor Pro Gear Slim Purple Cosmos (via Pen Boutique). So retailers now have these back in limited stock. If you missed them the first time, you have another shot.
  4. Lamy Safari Special Edition (via Pen Chalet). So maybe it's slightly more black than the existing Charcoal? Well, maybe if you don't have a black Safari already?
  5. Lamy Vibrant Pink AL-Star (via Pen Chalet). To me, the clear winner of this year's limited edition Lamy Sweepstakes (along with the Racing Green Studio that's apparently selling out).
  6. Lamy Vibrant Pink Ink (via Vanness Pens). The new Lamy Vibrant Pink bottled ink is now starting to trickle out. Hopefully Lamy doens't have the same supply issues with the limited edition colors as they have had in the past.
  7. Conway Stewart Restock (via Vanness Pens). Vanness has Conway Stewart pens back in stock! Check out some photos of my Honey Noire Conway Stewart 100 here!
  8. Chicago Retro 51 Special Edition (via Anderson Pens). Anderson Pens has a new Retro 51 in stock to celebrate the opening of Anderson Pens Chicago!
  9. Pelikan M600 Turquoise (via Goldspot). Preorder your new Pelikan M600 Turquoise from Goldspot and get a free bottle of Edelstein ink.
  10. Pilot Vanishing Point Crimson Sunrise Limited Edition (via Paul's Paper & Pens). I'll keep featuring these until they're gone. I ended up with one and I can't emphasize how gorgeous this pen is.
  11. Bellroy Pencil Case (via Huckberry). I recently reviewed the Bellroy Work Folio A5, and along with that sample Bellroy sent me a carryall pouch that isn't yet available, but in terms of build looks similar to the Pencil Case. I love these smaller "modular" cases that make it easier to switch between bags, and they are incredibly versatile.
  12. New Bull & Stash Leonard Journals (via Huckberry).  Huckberry has the "Leonard" mid-size journal from Bull & Stash on sale. Look for a review from me soon.
  13. Wancher "Dream Pen" Ebonite/Urushi Pen (via Kickstarter). What can I say? This project has far exceeded everyone's expectations. And yes! They now have a yellow urushi option available.
  14. Ensso XS Pocket Fountain Pen (via Kickstarter). The same folks who brought you the PIUMA Super Minimal fountain pen and the Pen UNO have a new pocket pen in the works.
  15. Pen Addict Live 2018 (via Kickstarter). Don't miss out on the chance to grab some enamel pins and a new limited edition Nock case! All stretch goals are unlocked.
  16. DeNobil Fountain Pens (via Kickstarter). DeNobil is a brand I've never heard of, but apparently they are relaunching via Kickstarter (though they still have a ways to go). Matt over at the Pen Habit reviewed one of their ebonite pens and gave good marks.
  17. TWSBI Mini AL Gold (via Amazon). Don't miss this one if you're on the fence. I finally took the plunge and it looks great (especially loaded up with Sailor Apricot).
  18. TWSBI 580 AL Rose (via Amazon). I have a real transparent demonstrator problem lately, and it looks like I'll have to pick one of these up before they finally sell out.
  19. ATELEIA Pens (via Ateleia/Etsy). ATELEIA makes some of the most unique looking machined pens on the market right now, especially if you're a fan of the Energel and the Hi-Tec-C.
  20. Eclipse and Red Falling Momiji Fountain Pens (via Etsy/18111). One of these pens is on my list for this year's pen show season.
