Wing Sung has really taken off in the States as the “reliable” cheap pen. You’re now even starting to see them on tables at pen shows! If you’re looking for an inexpensive knockaround pen to leave on your desk at work, or to test those crazy shimmer inks, give the Wing Sung pens a try. My personal favorites are the Wing Sung 618 and the Wing Sung 698 piston fillers, but I’ve also had good luck with the 3010, 3008, and 3001, all of which are sold in packages of multiple pens.
