LA Pen Show Recap (with Road Trip Round-Up). Ana and Lisa had an epic road trip out to the L.A. Pen Show, a “unique” experience at the show itself, and quite the adventure on the drive back home.
2019 LA Pen Show Recap (via Hand Over That Pen). Katherine recaps the LA Pen Show. I’m sorry I didn’t get to meet her this weekend, maybe in San Francisco!
A Few Journaling Tips (via Writing at Large). I struggle with consistency in my own journaling, and there are a lot of good pointers here that I’m going to tuck aside for future use.
Diamine 150th Anniversary Blood Orange Ink (via InkSharks). The Diamine 150th Anniversary Inks are underrated and receive much less attention than they deserve. I’m glad to see Diamine expanding this line. “Blood Orange” is one of the newer colors released over the past year or so.
How Do You Use Your …. Hippo Noto? (via the Looped Square). Everyone needs a “play” notebook, and this Hippo is being put to good use.
Pelikan M1005 Souveran Stresemann Review (via SBRE Brown). I haven’t had the opportunity to see one of these in person, but hopefully that will change at the upcoming Baltimore Pen Show. The M1000-series pens are VERY large, but they have a springy nib that’s pleasant to write with.
Hakase Real Sepia Dark (via Macchiato Man). Quite an interesting ink, and it smells like seafood?! Read further to find out what makes this ink unique.
Office Theft of Notebooks and Pens (via Notebook Stories). So now raiding your company’s office supply closet for a roll of scotch tape is now considered “corporate theft.” Something tells me most of these companies likely have bigger issues to worry about.
Pen Addict / Robert Oster Fire on Fire Ink (via Comfortable Shoes Studio). I’m very much looking forward to testing this out in person, and it looks like it would make a great editing ink.
Wish List (via Mountain of Ink). Anyone want to help Kelly add even more inks to her massive index of reviews? Details here on how to send her samples of inks you’d like to see her review.

TGS Amazon Page. I run across many more items (pens, pencils, books, accessories, etc.) in my online "travels." I can't feature them all on TGS, but Amazon has an option where I can set up an affiliate page to host product recommendations and earn fees on referrals. Amazon does not sponsor or endorse this blog in any way.
In Case You Missed It ….
This week on the blog I was only able to get a single long-form post up, since I’ve been traveling. Hopefully things will get back to normal this week, but it may be tight since I’m back on the road Friday to the Baltimore Pen Show. Meanwhile, enjoy my thoughts on the Los Angeles Pen Show, and Sunday madness!
