In this seminar, I walk through the various types of notebook systems on the market (modular cord and clip-based, 6-ring, disc-bound, etc.), discuss how each works, and give people the opportunity to compare systems side by side before investing in a potentially expensive notebook or cover. I’ve used most of these systems in my personal and professional life, and offer general guidance on what system might work best for your specific use case.

We will also talk about issues such as paper sizing, proprietary refills, customizing covers, and even making your own notebooks.

There is no charge to attend this seminar/workshop. The class portion will be 30-45 minutes in length followed by a Q&A. There are two sessions available, one on Saturday and Sunday. Please check the SF Pen Show Class schedule in case there is a time or location change.
