The Pilot Metropolitan fountain pen (also called the MR in certain markets) features a simple lacquered brass barrel and Pilot’s excellent steel nib. Those who like a bit of heft to their pen may prefer the Metropolitan over the lighter Pilot Explorer or Pilot Kakuno. Each pen includes a cartridge and CON-40 piston converter, so you can easily fill from the bottle right away.
The Pilot Metropolitan comes in several different colors, ranging from classic black and silver to the more vibrant Retro Pop collection. Fine, Medium, and Medium Italic (Calligraphy) nibs are available.
