Tom's Studio Wren "Write Off", From Reclaimed Disposable Pens
The Wren “Write Off” is a new project from Tom’s Studio. Over the past year, they've been working with schools and other organizations to intercept stationery waste at the source, preventing it from reaching landfill. This plastic is then meticulously separated and sorted to create different colors. Crafted in collaboration with the Brothers Make, each lid is made by chipping, injection-moulding and hand-finishing the reclaimed plastic – a process that’s more artisan than assembly line. This unique method means every lid is completely one-of-a-kind.
The Wren is Tom’s Studio’s refillable felt-tipped/fineliner pen equipped with a Japanese-made writing tip. Made from lightweight anodized aluminum, the Wren is pocketable yet expands to a comfortable 4.5” when posted. “Write Off” is available in four color combinations: Smoke/Black, Nimbus/Iris, Midnight/Ink, and Funfetti/Raspberry.
To learn more about how to fill the Wren and set up the pen, you can watch this demonstration on the T.G.S. YouTube Channel.
