New Arrivals: New Uni Zento Flow Anthurium Pink, a Zento Restock, and Carl Refill Maker 6-Ring Hole Punches

For me, the Uni Zento Flow is the gem of the Zento lineup. While the capped Zento Signature receives most of the attention, I personally prefer the click-pen format, and the Flow’s metal barrel gives this pen nearly perfect balance, in my opinion. In addition to the four colors of anodized aluminum, Uni has added two textured metal barrel options named “Birch” and “Anthurium Pink,” both of which we have added to the shop. These pens are not only slightly heavier than the standard Zento Flow, but grippier due to the texture on the barrel. We also have a fresh restock of the standard Zento in many different colors, if you prefer the matte barrel.

Finally, We have restocked on the Carl “Refill Maker” hole punch, for those of you looking to customize your own ring binder refills. If you’ve attended one of my recent classes on notebook systems at the DC and San Francisco Pen Shows (or read up on my notebook systems resources here on the main site), you know that I appreciate the versatility of a ring binder system mainly because it allows you to customize your notebooks with your choice of paper, and this specialized hole punch will work with the popular 5 and 6-ring sizes, including A5, Bible, Mini, and Mini-5.

The Nashville Shop is back to normal operations this week, open Thursday and Friday from 1-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-5pm. Most of all, many thanks for your support for everyone who shopped with us while we were away in San Francisco this past weekend!

New Arrivals: Colorverse Colorvent Calendars Are Here! Plus NOLTY Notebooks

The Colorvent Calendar is Colorverse’s own take on an advent calendar, with 24 unique 15ml bottles. These sets are available now and limited, so be sure to order yours to ensure that you have it for the beginning of “Inkvent”/”Colorvent” season. After each year, Colorverse selects three inks to add to the regular lineup. Check out the 2024 Set and 2025 Set to get a sense of what’s inside. We were personally huge fans of the three choices from 2025, especially “Follow the Water” and “Erebus Crater”.

We are also happy to add to our lineup a wide array of notebooks from NOLTY, a Japanese brand known for their planners and other everyday tools. In addition to standard notebooks, we’ve also added the Log-Type Notebooks featuring their unique “Asymmetry” ruling, with alternating lined and dot pages.

Some of us will be attending the San Francisco Pen Show this weekend. The Nashville Shop will remain open Thursday and Friday from 1-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm (Slightly reduced hours). Online orders will continue to be processed but shipping time for orders placed after Wednesday at noon will have a 3-5 business day fulfillment time as opposed to our typical 2-3 business days. New Arrivals: More Uni Kuru Toga and Pilot Mechanical Pencils from Japan!

We received a large shipment of restocked Japanese favorites on Saturday, including unique mechanical pencils from Uni and Pilot! Some of these, like the Uni Kuru Toga Wood and Kuru Toga Metal, have made periodic appearances but consistent sourcing has been difficult. In addition to these higher-end models, we continue to carry more budget-friendly Kuru Toga options like the Alpha Gel Switch and the Kuru Toga KS. From Pilot, we have more of the excellent Pilot S20 mechanical pencil that is now available in five colors, as well as matching ballpoints (which only come in 2 colors right now, unfortunately). We continue to expand our lineup of mechanical pencils, with even more on order!

Blackwing Restock: Volume 458 "The Birding Pencil" (Great with Matching Field Notes?)

It’s a double new-release week, with the TWSBI Pink Lemonade pre-order opening up yesterday, and our allotment of the Blackwing Volume 458 Birding Pencil arriving yesterday afternoon. Since this has been one of the more heavily requested Blackwing releases, I thought it made sense to do a separate announcement. We’ve also restocked on many of the standard Blackwing items, including the Natural pencils and the Blackwing One-Step Sharpeners.

What to pair with these? We recently restocked on Field Notes, and in addition to all of the latest new releases including the Paletas Summer Release and the Spring “Lucky” notebooks, the new Blackwing pencils would be the perfect companion to any of the Birds & Trees of North America series!

New Arrivals: TWSBI ECO Pink Lemonade with Bronze Fountain Pen (SOLD OUT)

Update - Unfortunately the TWSBI Pink Lemonades sold out almost immediately due to unprecedented demand and relatively small initial shipments from TWSBI. We hope to have more pens in the coming weeks. We recently received a fresh shipment of the ECO Rootbeer + Bronze fountain pens, and continue to have stock of those and other ECO models available.

The wait is over! TWSBI’S latest ECO release - Pink Lemonade with Bronze Trim - is available for pre-order, with pens starting to ship on Wednesday (8/5). Pink Lemonade looks to be especially popular, as the milky pink acrylic gives the pen a true late summer vibe. All TWSBI ECO nib sizes are available, in EF-1.1mm stub.

We will be at the D.C. Pen Show this coming weekend, but all pens pre-ordered prior to the launch date will ship Wednesday before we leave. Pickup orders will be available in the Nashville Shop Thursday-Saturday, as we will remain open.
