New Arrivals: More Notsu Notecards, New Notecard Holders, Plus Midori XS Stationery Accessories!

Just in time for the holidays, we received a giant box from Notsu yesterday with more Centre Rise Notecard Sets (featuring vertical “To Do” cards), the Centre Notecard Set (featuring horizontal “To Do” cards), and two new colors of Notsu’s vegan leather Notecard Holders, which are now available in gray and dark brown!

We also offer the Midori XS Stationery kit components available for purchase separately, including the XS Staplers, Glue Tape, Correction Tape, and Paper Cutters. We’ve carried the popular XS Stationery travel kits for a while now, and you can now buy refills or the mini components separately to build your own kit. These are excellent office supplies for a go-bag or travel journaling.

New Arrivals: Refreshed Washi, Sticker, and Pin Selection!

While paper and notebook systems tend to be our primary focus around here, by far one of my favorite aspects of running the store is curating our selection of washi tape, stickers, pins, and other small accessories. Why? Because it’s pure fun, especially when you get to dive into the more irreverent designs like all the quirky stuff from iLootPaperie.

This week we have a whole array of new stickers themed around snail mail, typewriters, and reading. We also have a bunch of new enamel pins, including some really timely pencil-themed pins, a “Par Pigeon” pin, and more! Finally, MT Washi Tape is back in stock, including Travel/Maps and Encyclopedia themed tapes. Be sure to check all of these out, as they will make great gifts for the upcoming holiday season!

New Arrivals: Pilot Kakuno "Madoromi" Series Fountain Pens

The Pilot Kakuno fountain pen is loved by fountain pen enthusiasts as a relatively inexpensive, reliable option perfect for both new and experienced users. I’ve always found the Kakuno comfortable to use, and it’s signature nib writes just as you would expect from a Pilot pen! I regularly have new users ask if they need to “upgrade” from their Kakuno to a more expensive pen, and are surprised to learn that I love the Kakuno myself as a great daily driver option - not just as a starter pen for beginners.

This year, Pilot has released the Kakuno “Madoromi” series, which features five “drowsy” pastel colors inspired by a theme of naps and dreams. These pens are slightly translucent, and come in shades of milky white, blue, grey, and pink, paired with a gold-toned nib. Currently available with either a fine or medium nib. Get yours now, and we have recently restocked on other Pilot offerings including the Pilot Explorer Fountain Pen and the Pilot Prera. Standard Kakuno colors are also available.

New Arrivals: The Roterfaden Taschenbegleiter TGS_25 Is Back, with a New Color!

Late last week we received a fresh shipment of our exclusive Roterfaden collaboration, the TGS25 A5 Slim format! This release has been hugely successful, so in addition to the original dark green leather with dark grey suede interior combination, we’ve added a grey leather with light green interior version. Both options come with your choice of a light green or light grey elastic.

The TGS25 is A5 Slim size, meaning that it is designed to fit refills that are the same height as your classic A5 notebook but slightly narrower. Any refill with 8.3” x 4.3” dimensions is compatible, plus any A5 notebook you might want to cut down to a narrower size. (Stàlogy is a favorite of many people for this type of modification.) Roterfaden TGS25 covers are available to ship immediately!

Also, as a bit of an added update, Kaweco Sport and AL-Sport Fountain Pens are now back in stock. We finally received a restock from the distributor, and have the foldable mini converters as well.

New Arrivals: Linen Flex A5 Notebooks by Bindewerk!

I’ve been building up to including these flexible linen Bindewerk notebooks in our curation, and was finally able to bring in a fun selection of covers in dot, lined, and at least one blank variant.

Bindewerk notebooks are handmade in Germany, and feature lightly textured/laid paper with an unobtrusive dot grid that disappears while you write. The flexible cover opens and lies relatively flat, for a comfortable writing experience both on the go and at your desk. The paper is excellent with fountain pens, and absorbent with relatively quick dry times. I already have a yellow one lined up for my next journal!
