Weekly Drops: Arkansas Pen Show Edition! New TWSBI Bahama Yellow, Kaweco Lunar Sports, Yamamoto Paper, and More!

We’re attending the Arkansas Pen Show this weekend, so I wanted to get as many reminders out there as possible that the Nashville Shop is going to be closed on Friday but open on Saturday normal hours. (Thanks, Nick!) We do have plenty of the new TWSBI ECO Bahama Yellow fountain pens and the Kaweco Lunar Sport available for purchase in-store and online, in addition to restocks of favorite papers from Yamamoto and more TRAVELER’S Notebooks.

1. Kaweco Lunar Sport Fountain Pens. The Iridescent Pearl Perkeos didn’t last very long, but we have the new Lunar Sport fountain pens available in both Light and Shadow Green.

2. TWSBI ECO Bahama Yellow Fountain Pens. The latest release from TWSBI is a mustard yellow - a shade that I think is vastly underrepresented in fountain pens.

3. Yamamoto Canopus A5 Notebooks. Canopus paper was designed to replace the now-discontinued Cosmo Air Light, with a similarly soft feel and vivid color with most fountain pen inks.

4. Yamamoto Ro-Biki Notebooks and Canvas Covers. The Yamamoto Ro-Biki system is lesser known, but a favorite notebook system of many. The Soliste paper used in the refills comes in a variety of different rulings such as graph, reticle, and reticle+grid.

5. Colorverse Colorvent "2025 “Top 3” Inks and Glistening Series. We’ve re-upped on Colorverse inks, with new releases and old favorites back in stock! Be sure to check these out especially if you’ve been looking for shimmer.

New Arrivals: New Kaweco Sports and Perkeos, Silver Diplomat Vipers, and the Colorverse Colorvent 2025 "Top 3" Inks

New Diplomat Viper fountain pens have arrived! The latest release is Silver, featuring the same textured guilloché pattern that makes the Viper such a pleasant pen to use. The texture on the silver even gives the pen a blue cast in certain lights! The Viper fountain pen is available in a single fine/medium (FM) nib size, as well as a rollerball.

And as of this morning, we also have the Colorverse Colorvent 2025 “Top 3” Ink Releases! Colorverse has chosen Follow the Water, Polar Night, and Erebus Crater, which are a bit more adventurous than 2024’s Pulsar Pulse, Milky Way, and Christmas Star. Finally, we’ve also received the Glistening series, including the stunning Mystic Mountain pictured below.

UPDATE: New Kaweco Perkeos and Sports are In Stock!

Just arrived today: We have the new Kaweco Perkeo in Iridescent Pearl, as well as the Kaweco Sport in Pink with the Skyline trim, and the Lunar Light Green and Lunar Shadow Green, both of which are available for purchase and will ship starting tomorrow (3/18).

Thursday Drops: Sandglass Restock, Lamy AL-Star Pine and Flamingo, and More Accessories!

Two huge boxes of Hightide Sandglasses landed this week, including most colors in the larger sizes! Turquoise has been the most-requested color, and we’ve been able to stock it in both the 30-minute and 15-minute intervals, along with the Hightide folding metal book stands, Penco drafting ballpoint pens, and more! The Lamy AL-Star in Pine is also back, because the response to that particular color has been so strong. (We also took the opportunity to order more Dark Dusk, last year’s favorite.) And don’t miss the latest Diplomat Viper release in Silver Guilloché, which arrived in both fountain pen and rollerball.

Finally, as we discussed in this week’s episode of On the Paper Trail, it’s almost the last pre-pen show call for the T.G.S.-exclusive Roterfaden TGS_25. I’ll be pulling some stock to take with me to the Arkansas Pen Show and San Francisco Stationery Fest later this month.

We have normal Nashville shop hours this week, open from 1-6pm Thursday and Friday, and from 10am-6pm on Saturday. Come by and see these and more in-person!

1. Hightide Sandglasses. We received a fresh shipment of Hightide Sandglasses, including more 30 and 15-minute intervals. We even have more of the less common Turquoise color in 30-minute variants. If you’re interested in reading further on how you can use a sandglass or hourglass to replace digital timers, check out this post.

2. Hightide Folding Metal Book Stands. Another original product from the early days of the T.G.S. Curated Shop that remains enduringly popular. You can use these to hold books, notebooks (especially while you’re typing notes), or even a tablet.

3. Penco Drafting Ballpoint Pens and Pencils. The popular miniature drafting pens and pencils from Penco are restocked in both pencil and ballpoint. The ballpoints have been out of stock and backordered for a while.

4. Lamy AL-Star in Pine and Flamingo. We’ve restocked all of this year’s Lamy AL-Star release in Pine, which sold out nearly immediately and is the clear winner of the two, though Flamingo is a great dusty pink.

5. Lamy 2000 Fountain Pens. The Lamy 2000 is back in stock in all nib sizes, including the fine nib, our most popular option.

6. Lamy 2000 Ballpoint in Taxus and Blackwood. Two overlooked entries from the Lamy 2000 lineup, the Taxus and Blackwood trade Makrolon for turned wood. Taxus is probably my favorite.

7. Lamy x Uni M17 Jetstream Refill. What to pair with your Lamy 2000 ballpoint pen? Maybe one of the Jetstream Lamy-compatible refills! We have both the .5mm and .7mm options.

8. Laurett’s Waka Ebonite Ballpoint Pens. One of my favorite items that I’ve discovered over the past year, these ballpoints feature knurling on ebonite by a Japanese company known for precision machine work. The pens take Parker-style refills so you can customize them with your ink of choice, though they ship with a standard Schmidt ballpoint refill.

9. Penco Multi Pens. Did you know that Penco also makes a D1 multi pen in addition to their standard Perfection bullet pens? These 2+1 pens (2 pens + a mechanical pencil) come in a range of nice-looking matte colors.

10. iLootPaperie Washi Tape and Stickers. We have iLootPaperie washi tape restocked, including many old favorites and some new designs!

New Arrivals: Cloth & Paper Sticky Notes to Customize Your Planners and Journals

I’ve always been a big annotator and copious notetaker in my everyday life. My planners, journals, and even paperback and hardback books get actively used, meaning that they’re marked up margin notes, highlights, and sticky notes. Cloth & Paper out of Richmond, Virginia makes an expansive range of index flags, sticky notes, dividers, and other accessories to help you annotate and organize, including lightweight and translucent sticky notes that don’t overly bulk-up your notebooks. This past weekend we added nearly a dozen new variations to the shop, including the larger “Sidebar” series that can help you format your journal pages with a task list or a weekly schedule.

We carry the Cloth & Paper line, and many more sticky notes, journals, and accessories in the paper section of our shop. Note that “translucent” sticky notes are intended for use with pencils, ballpoints, and gel pens. Water-based inks, including fountain pen inks, will not adhere to the surface and/or will take a long time to dry. Regular paper or matte sticky notes do not repel ink and should be fine with most pens.

Thursday Drops: Lamy Dialog CC, Roterfaden TGS_25, Galen Leather Cases and More!

We’ve been scrambling to get all the recently arrived inventory listed, in light of two upcoming pen shows (the upcoming Arkansas Pen Show and San Francisco Stationery Fest)! We recently received a large Kaweco restock along with additional Roterfaden TGS_25 A5-Slim covers. I am planning to set aside a portion of these for pen shows later this month, so if you are looking to purchase one online please get your orders in sooner rather than later as a subsquent restock may be delayed.

1. Lamy Dialog CC Fountain Pen. Lamy’s take on the capless fountain pen, the Dialog Series, includes two pens: the Dialog 3 and the Dialog CC. The clipless, more compact Dialog CC is in my opinion the most usable for the most people, as it’s shorter and a much more well-balanced pen.

2. Roterfaden TGS_25 A5-Slim Notebook Covers. We have fresh stock of our exclusive Roterfaden model in A5 Slim. Based on the volume of requests, we chose to restock the dark green cover with dark grey suede interior. For those who made requests for a cover, I have e-mailed most of you regarding availability, but please note that if I don’t hear from you by tomorrow or see an order I will release held-back stock for online and pen-show purchase.

3. Kaweco Collection Sport Fountain Pens. We have additional stock of most Kaweco Collection fountain pens, including the Honey (yellow) and Apricot Pearl releases.

4. Kaweco Metal Sport Fountain Pens. We have also received additional stock of the Kaweco Metal Sport pens, including brass, stainless steel, bronze, and titanium.

5. Kaweco Liliput Fountain Pens. Stainless Steel, brass, copper, and “Kolibri” Liliput fountain pens are available, in addition to the standard aluminum in all the popular finishes.

6. Kaweco Sketch Up Clutch Pencil. The Kaweco Sketch Up is a versatile tool that can be used as a clutch pencil, a drylighter (highlighter pencil), and even a dip nib holder!

7. Galen Leather Pen Cases. We are happy to announce that we are now authorized resellers of Galen Leather, including zippered cases, Magnum Opus cases, certain A5 notebook covers, and bankers bags.

8. Craighill Kepler Pen. The subtly sculpted Kepler pen uses universal D1 refills, so it can serve as a classic ballpoint, low-viscosity ballpoint, or gel pen, depending on your needs.

9. Craighill Summit Card Case. These hefty metal card cases caught my eye at the NYNow trade show, and I picked up a couple in two different finishes. These can be used as both business card holders and even as a metal cardholder/wallet.

10. Craighill Chroma Scissors. These large, sharp desk scissors not only work extremely well, but they make a statement on your desktop!

I personally think the Honey Sport from the Kaweco Collection series is one of the better looking Kaweco Sport fountain pens that Kaweco has released in recent years.
